Projects is the delivery module of iERP: a portfolio in list, board, Gantt and calendar views; tasks with dependencies; time booking approved by the project lead; budget, purchases, certifications and billing milestones. People come from Human resources and certified milestones pass to Finance, so a project's margin comes from the data instead of a spreadsheet somebody reconciles by hand.

It works just as well for a construction job, a campaign or a rollout: what changes is the vocabulary of the catalogues, and your team configures those.
Tasks with dependencies
List, board, backlog, Gantt and calendar. Every task knows what is blocking it and what it is blocking, and the status changes by dragging the card.
Time with real approval
The project lead approves the timesheet. What is pending already counts provisionally towards cost, and what is rejected is left out with the reason written down and a notice to whoever booked it.
Cost and margin with nothing invented
Staff cost by profile and rate, committed purchases, and margin against issued and collected milestones. Hours from someone without a rate profile show up as unvalued, never as zero cost.
From certification to invoice
You certify the period's work and the certification generates its billing milestone, which Finance issues under your own series numbering.
Risks, changes and deliverables
Risks with probability, impact and derived exposure; change control with its assessment and sign-off; deliverables with a committed date and a flag on the overdue ones.
