Sample intake
It will record the intake, the identification and the status of every sample, with who brought it in and when.
Traceability from the sample to the report, on top of the customer, the job and the invoice that already exist.
Laboratories is an iERP module in development: it will cover sample intake, the catalogue of assays and methods, capture and validation of results, reports of analysis and full traceability between sample, assay, analyst and equipment. Winning the customer will stay with CRM and invoicing the assay with Finance. Nothing of its own is in production.
What it does
Written in the future tense on purpose: this is what the module will solve once it exists, not what it does today.
It will record the intake, the identification and the status of every sample, with who brought it in and when.
It will hold the catalogue of assays, the method applied, the equipment used and the analyst who signs off.
It will capture the result, validate it and issue the report, traceable back to the sample behind it.
It will leave the sample-assay-analyst-equipment chain ready for a quality audit.
How the AI runs it
Once Laboratories is in production you will be able to ask about a specific sample. Today the agent already answers for the customer, the job and the invoice for the assay.
The agent reads, proposes and asks for confirmation before writing, and every action is logged in the audit trail as an AI action. This module's own actions will ship with the module.
Which lab jobs do we have open and for which customer?
proyectos.proyecto_listar open jobs
Here are the open jobs by customer from Projects and CRM, and I have drafted the invoice with Finance. Samples, assays and reports will come with this module.
Works with
The customer commissioning the analysis is already in CRM, the job with its hours and profitability in Projects, and the invoice for the assay in Finance. All three are in production and share database, permissions and agents.
On the roadmap
The whole module is missing: there are no samples, no assays and no reports in production, and Laboratories cannot be activated in any workspace. The commercial and financial circuit of a lab does work today.
What people ask before deciding.
No. Sample intake, assays and reports of analysis are exactly what this module will bring, and it is in development. What does work today is the customer in CRM, the job in Projects and the invoice in Finance.
Half an hour with your real assays. In the meantime, the Professional plan already includes CRM, Projects and Finance, which cover the customer, the job and the invoice.
